Connection fee

Can anybody tell me what is the exact connection fee for using the access numbers listed on Niftlist? I have been charged 10p. I thought it was 5p.

We would need to know whether your calling from a  landline or a mobile, and the name of the landline or mobile network.

Sorry ...should have mentioned that info in my query. Am calling from landline and BT is my service provider. Ta

From the 1/10/09 the call set up fee for a chargeable call on a  BT Landline is 9.05p call .

Using a call provider that offers a short code access  ,a freephone access number,or a geographical access number if you have inclusive minutes may work out  cheaper.As your probaly pay a lower connection charge, or no connection charge. Plus you want normally pay until your connected unlike 0844/0871 access numbers.

A 9.3p call set up fee applies. Unlimited landline UK calls are for up to an hour to numbers ... Connection charge may apply if a new BT line is required.
